Location Details

Merck Sharp & Dohme is located in the picturesque Suir Valley in Tipperary, in the South East of Ireland. Built on the River Suir, the plant is bordered by the Comeragh Mountains to the south and Slievenamon to the north-west.  It lies approximately 10 miles east of Clonmel and 5 miles west of Carrick on Suir on the N24. It is within easy commuting distance of Kilkenny, Waterford, North Cork and surrounding areas.

Car: For those travelling to the site by car, may we direct you to the route planning section of AA Roadwatch for the latest traffic routes. You should set Kilsheelan, Co. Tipperary as your destination. We are approximately 4 miles from Kilsheelan on the Carrick on Suir road.

Air: The main airports in Ireland located within reasonable distance of the Ballydine plant are Dublin (190Km, 2.5Hrs.), Waterford (40Km, 1Hr.), Cork (95Km, 1.5Hrs.) and Shannon (105Km, 1.5Hrs.).
